About Karen
Hi, I’m Karen.
I’m so glad you’re here.
There was a time when I felt deeply alone—even when I wasn’t actually alone. Life looked full on the outside, but inside, I felt disconnected… from myself, from others, and sometimes even from God.
Through my own seasons of waiting, loss, and uncertainty, I began to learn that connection isn’t something we find by trying harder—it’s something we experience when we slow down and allow God to meet us right where we are.
Today, I help women reconnect with God, themselves, and others—so they can move from feeling isolated and overwhelmed to grounded, connected, and supported.
For over two decades, I’ve walked alongside women in many different spaces—through ministry, small groups, hospital visits, retreats, and everyday conversations where life feels heavy and uncertain. Those experiences shaped the way I listen, the way I care, and the way I guide.
I’m also a certified health and life coach with advanced training in transformational coaching, and a Pilates instructor. I love helping women reconnect not just emotionally and spiritually, but physically—learning to listen to their bodies instead of pushing past them.
I’m the owner of Embrace Health and Life Coaching, where I offer coaching and private Pilates sessions designed to meet women right where they are.
I’m also the author of Nearsighted: Choosing to See Eating Disorders Differently, a book born from my own story and written to support those walking alongside someone they love.
I’m currently writing my next book, Hope Has a Seat in Every Waiting Room, a deeply personal exploration of what it looks like to find hope, presence, and connection in seasons that feel uncertain and unresolved.
But more than anything…
I care deeply about creating spaces where women feel seen, safe, and not alone in their waiting.
